Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer Trainee to join our Quality Department. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in quality inspection, process monitoring, documentation, and ensuring products meet company and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in incoming, in-process, and final quality inspection.
- Check raw materials, production processes, and finished products as per specifications.
- Monitor production activities and identify quality issues or deviations.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and records.
- Support the Quality Engineer in investigating defects and identifying root causes.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with approved quality standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain calibration and inspection records of measuring instruments.
- Support 5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality management system requirements.
- Assist during internal/customer inspections and audits.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production, or related engineering discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience; freshers can apply.




- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality inspection processes.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Measuring Tape, etc.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Positive communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing/steel plant environment.

Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA).
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and quality procedures.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with Production and Quality teams.

Training & Development The trainee will receive practical exposure to:
- Quality inspection procedures
- Manufacturing process control
- Defect identification and analysis
- Quality documentation
- Measuring instruments
- Root Cause Analysis
- CAPA and continuous improvement activities

Salary As per company standards and candidate's qualification/experience.

Candidate Profile

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹15,500.00 per month
