Role Description The Quality Executive is a full-time, in office position based in Jamnagar. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process, including in-process inspections, final product checks, and documentation of test results.

The Quality

Executive will conduct regular quality audits, assist in root cause analysis for nonconformities, and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Daily activities include preparing and updating quality records, coordinating with production, maintenance, and dispatch teams to resolve quality issues, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and customer specifications. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining calibration and testing schedules, and communicating quality-related feedback to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process,



and final inspection of valve and brass components.
- Read engineering drawings, GD&T;, and customer specifications.
- Inspect components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Plug Gauges, Ring Gauges, Thread Gauges, Air Gauges, and Profile Projectors.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and prepare inspection reports.
- Prepare and maintain PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flow Charts, Inspection Standards, and 8D Reports.
- Investigate quality issues using Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Monitor rejection, rework, scrap, and PPM performance and implement improvement actions.
- Coordinate Internal Audits, Customer Audits, and Third-Party Audits.
- Ensure calibration and traceability of measuring instruments.
- Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchase, and Stores to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality MIS reports.

Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in the valve or precision machining industry.
