Incoming Material

Inspection

- Inspect incoming electrical and mechanical components such as MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays, meters, busbars, cables, terminals, enclosures, and accessories.

- Verify material against approved drawings, BOM, specifications, and purchase requirements.

- Maintain incoming inspection reports and identify non-conforming materials.

1. In-Process Quality Control

- Conduct stage-wise inspection during panel manufacturing, including:

- Enclosure fabrication and assembly

- Busbar cutting, bending, and installation

- Component mounting

- Wiring and termination

- Cable dressing and ferruling

- Earthing and electrical connections

- Verify workmanship against approved drawings, wiring diagrams, and quality standards.

- Identify and communicate defects to production and take necessary corrective action.

1. Final Inspection &
- Testing

- Perform final inspection of electrical panels before dispatch.

- Check panel dimensions, component mounting, labeling, wiring, torque, earthing, busbar clearances, and overall workmanship.

- Carry out or coordinate electrical tests such as:

- Continuity test

- Insulation resistance test

- High-voltage/Dielectric withstand test, where applicable

- Functional testing

- Control circuit testing

- Interlock and sequence testing

- Ensure test results are recorded and meet specified acceptance criteria.

1. Documentation &
- Quality Records

- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test reports, check sheets, NCRs, and other quality records.

- Review drawings, BOMs, specifications, and customer requirements.

- Maintain traceability of inspection and testing activities.

- Support preparation of quality documents required for customer inspection and dispatch.

1. Non-Conformance &
- Corrective Action





- Raise NCRs for deviations and non-conforming products/materials.

- Coordinate with production and engineering teams for root-cause analysis.

- Support implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Monitor recurring defects and recommend improvements to reduce rejection and rework.

1. Customer &
- Third-Party Inspection

- Coordinate with customers or third-party inspectors during panel inspection and testing.

- Support resolution of quality-related customer complaints.

- Ensure customer-specific inspection requirements are followed.

1. Quality Improvement

- Monitor rejection, rework, and defect trends.

- Conduct basic root-cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and Pareto Analysis.

- Participate in process improvement and continuous improvement activities.

- Promote quality awareness among production personnel.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

- 2–5 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing, switchgear, or industrial electrical equipment.

- Good understanding of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), control wiring diagrams, and BOMs.

- Knowledge of electrical panel inspection and testing procedures.

- Familiarity with relevant IEC/IS standards and customer specifications is preferred.

- Basic knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001 is an advantage.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹280,000.00 per month
