nQuality Engineer I – Enterprise Systems
nAbout the Role:
nWe are looking for a Quality Engineer I (QE I) to support quality execution across our ERP and product -facing enterprise systems, including Merchandising, Planning, Product Creation, Inventory, and related integrations.
nIn this role, you will work closely with engineers, product partners, and senior quality engineers to validate business workflows, data flows, and system behavior across complex, interconnected platforms. You will focus on learning enterprise business processes, executing well-designed test scenarios, and contributing to automation first quality practices.
nThis is an early career growth role for engineers who are curious about how large scale systems work end-to-end and want to build strong foundations in enterprise quality engineering.

nWhat You’ll Do:
nSupport Quality and Operations Across Enterprise Workflows:
n
n
- Execute test cases for enterprise business processes across Merchandising, Planning, Product Creation, Inventory, and downstream systems.
n
- Validate functional behavior against requirements, acceptance criteria, and documented workflows.
n
- Identify defects related to business logic, data issues, integrations, or configuration errors and log them clearly with impact and repro steps.
n
- Assist in end to end testing of workflows that span multiple systems.
n
- Provide Operational assistance during GHO off-hours and report any callouts to Onshore counterparts
n
n
nData & Integration Validation:
n
n
- Validate data accuracy across interfaces, APIs, batch jobs, and downstream system updates.
n
- Support testing of scheduled jobs, data feeds, and integration hand offs.
n
- Compare expected vs. actual results for calculations, rules, and configuration driven behavior.
n
- Help ensure data integrity for planning, inventory, and operational reporting.
n
n
nAutomation & Engineering Practices:
n
n
- Contribute to automated test suites for APIs, services, and enterprise workflows.
n
- Execute and maintain existing automated tests as part of CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Assist in creating reusable test data and validation scripts.
n
- Learn automation frameworks, tools, and best practices used by the team.
n
n
nCollaboration & Learning:
n
n
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
n
- Partner with developers and senior QEs to understand system design and test intent.
n
- Ask questions early to clarify requirements and uncover edge cases.
n
- Support release testing and post-release validation activities.
n
n
nContinuous Improvement:
n
n
- Review defects and production issues to understand root causes and prevention opportunities.
n
- Suggest improvements to test cases, automation coverage, and documentation.
n
- Continuously build knowledge of enterprise platforms, business processes, and quality practices.
n

nWhat You Bring:
nRequired Qualifications:
n
n
- 4–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Engineering, or a related role.
n
- Experience testing backend systems, APIs, or data-driven applications.
n
- Basic understanding of software testing fundamentals and defect lifecycle.
n
- Familiarity with API testing concepts (REST, JSON, status codes, payload validation).
n
- Exposure to SQL or basic data validation techniques.
n
- Comfortable working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
n
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to learn complex systems.
n
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
n
n
nNice to Have:
n
n
- Exposure to ERP or large-scale enterprise systems.
n
- Experience with test automation tools or scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar).
n
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
n
- Familiarity with Kafka
n
- Basic understanding of business domains such as Merchandising, Inventory, Planning, or Supply Chain.

- Experience working with batch jobs, integrations, or data pipelines.
