Role : QA Engineer - Software

About the Role :

We are looking for a QA Engineer - Software from an Indian IT Services background with 0 - 3 years of experience in software testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing, along with exposure to web application testing, API testing, test automation, and AI-powered Chatbot/Voicebot testing.

The role involves testing modern web applications built using ReactJS and NextJS, as well as validating conversational AI workflows, including intents, entities, multi-turn conversations, fallback handling, context retention, and escalation scenarios.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, prepare, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for software applications and AI-powered bot workflows.
- Perform Manual, Functional, Regression, Integration, Exploratory, and UAT testing.
- Test web applications built using ReactJS and NextJS for functionality, UI behavior, navigation, responsiveness, compatibility, and end-to-end user journeys.
- Perform UI and API validation and verify backend integrations and data flow.
- Test AI-powered Chatbots and Voicebots for conversation quality, accuracy, functionality, and business use-case completion.
- Validate conversational architecture, including intents, entities, prompts, decision trees, multi-turn conversations, fallback handling, context retention, and human handoff.
- Execute Voicebot test scenarios involving speech variations, pauses, retries, interruptions, silence handling, and telephony behavior.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using suitable automation frameworks.




- Support automation of regression test suites for web applications, Chatbots, and Voicebots.
- Log, document, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Conversation Designers to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and release readiness.

Required Skills &

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
- 0 - 3 years of experience in Software QA / Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA processes.
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, and Regression Testing.
- Experience testing web-based applications, specifically ReactJS and/or NextJS.
- Good understanding of UI Testing, API Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
- Exposure to Chatbot, Voicebot, or Conversational AI Testing.
- Understanding of conversational AI concepts such as intents, entities, dialog flows, context management, fallback handling, escalation paths, and multi-turn interactions.
- Exposure to Test Automation concepts and frameworks.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum setting is preferred.

Preferred Experience :

- Candidates with experience in Conversational AI, Generative AI testing, Chatbot/Voicebot testing, ReactJS/NextJS testing, API testing, and Web automation testing will have an added advantage
