About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Analyst / Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify, document, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing of web/mobile applications.
- Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects.
- Perform smoke and sanity testing for new builds and releases.
- Re-test resolved defects and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement discussions and provide inputs from a testing perspective.
- Maintain clear documentation of test results and defects.
- Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Identify potential edge cases and areas of risk before production release.

Required Skills




- 1–2 years of experience in Manual Testing / Quality Analysis.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Good knowledge of different software testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Zoho BugTracker, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Good understanding of Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and System Testing.
- Basic understanding of API testing is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Exposure to Postman or other API testing tools.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts.
- Experience testing SaaS / web-based applications.

Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
