Core Responsibilities
- Laboratory Operations Oversight: Manage daily testing workflows for raw materials, packaging components, and finished products.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all laboratory procedures follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and global regulatory guidelines (such as USFDA or EMA).
- Out-of-Specification (OOS) Investigations: Lead investigations when test results fail to meet established specifications, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Staff Management and Training: Train, mentor,
and supervise QC analysts and technicians to maintain high technical competency and safety standards.
- Equipment Calibration and Validation: Ensure analytical instruments are properly calibrated, maintained, and validated for reliable test data.
- Documentation and Review: Review and approve test data, analytical methods, certificates of analysis (CoA), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
