About the Role

We are looking for a Jr. QC Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting quality inspections, maintaining quality standards, identifying process/product defects, and assisting in continuous improvement activities across the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of materials and finished products.
- Inspect sheet metal components, fabricated parts, painted components, and modular furniture/kitchen assemblies as per quality standards.
- Check product dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, measuring tape, gauges, etc.
- Identify and record defects, deviations, and quality issues during production.
- Support preparation and maintenance of inspection reports, check sheets, NCRs, and quality records.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, PPC, Paint, and Assembly teams to resolve quality issues.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor compliance with approved drawings, specifications, BOM/MBOM, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular process audits and product inspections on the shop floor.
- Support implementation of 5S, quality improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain proper documentation of inspection results and quality-related data.
- Assist senior QC team members in customer complaint analysis and corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering – Fresher preferred.




- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control concepts.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and dimensions.
- Knowledge of Vernier caliper and basic measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work on the manufacturing shop floor.
- Ready to work at Bhiwandi location.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing, fabrication, bending, laser cutting, painting, and assembly will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and CAPA.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 will be an added advantage.
