About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to protect product quality across functional, API, integration and regression testing. You will understand end-to-end workflows, prepare and execute test plans, identify product risks and provide explicit evidence for release decisions in close collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and execute functional, integration and regression testing.

- Test REST APIs using Postman or equivalent tools.

- Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases.

- Validate end-to-end business workflows and release candidates.

- Report defects with clear steps, evidence, severity and business impact.

- Track defects through verification and closure.

- Use SQL to prepare test data and validate system behaviour.

- Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to clarify requirements.

- Communicate release quality, residual risk and readiness.

What success looks like





- Own release-validation activities and maintain reliable regression coverage.

- Identify functional, integration and usability issues before release.

- Understand user journeys and system dependencies, not only individual screens.

- Produce clear, reproducible and actionable defect reports.

- Advocate for quality while working constructively with the delivery team.

Required skills

- Hands-on manual and functional testing experience.

- Test-case and scenario design.

- API testing and REST concepts.

- Bug tracking using Jira or a similar tool.

- Test execution, evidence collection and reporting.

- Basic SQL.

- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Good to have

- Test automation exposure.

- Mobile application testing.

- Performance testing fundamentals.
