PostureGuard is building an AI-era security posture platform across cloud infrastructure, applications, identities, AI agents, vulnerabilities, and compliance. We ship security features quickly, and we need someone who enjoys breaking things before customers do.

We’re looking for a QA/Product Testing Intern who is curious about both traditional software testing and the new challenges introduced by AI/LLM systems .

What You'll Do

- Test current PostureGuard features across the web application, cloud integrations, security detectors, compliance modules, and AI Runtime.
- Create and execute manual, functional, regression, integration, and API test cases .
- Use Claude/AI coding and reasoning tools to generate test scenarios, identify edge cases, analyze failures, and improve test coverage.
- Learn and apply AI-assisted testing workflows using Claude and other AI tools.
- Test AI/LLM features for:
- Incorrect or inconsistent responses, Hallucinations, Prompt injection, Context handling, Permission boundaries, Tool/function calling, Unexpected outputs, Security-sensitive behavior
- Assist in testing Small Language Model (SLM)/LLM-based security features , including evaluating accuracy, reliability, latency, and failure cases.
- Test AI agents, agent workflows, MCP/tool integrations, and AI Runtime behavior.
- Validate security findings, compliance mappings, risk scores, and detection logic against expected results.
- Test AWS/cloud security components and verify that resources are correctly discovered, mapped, and represented in the Knowledge Graph.
- Write clear bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected behavior, actual behavior, severity,



and supporting evidence .
- Use browser DevTools, Postman, logs, and basic Linux tools to investigate issues.
- Build and maintain test cases, regression suites, and testing documentation.
- Identify unusual edge cases and try to break workflows in unexpected ways.

Who You Are
- 3rd-year+ CS/IT student or recent graduate or passionate investigator.
- Curious about software, cybersecurity, and AI .
- Comfortable exploring a product and figuring out how things can fail.
- Basic understanding of APIs, HTTP, JSON, and web applications.
- Comfortable with Postman and browser DevTools .
- Able to clearly document problems and communicate with developers.
- Willing to learn AI-assisted testing and experiment with Claude.

Good to Have
- Basic Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or another testing framework.
- Basic SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge.
- Cybersecurity coursework or projects.
- Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar AI coding/reasoning tools.
- Understanding of LLMs, RAG, agents, MCP, or prompt engineering.
- Previous QA/testing internship or project experience.

What We're Looking For We care more about curiosity and problem-solving ability than years of experience .
