Role Description This is a full-time, 100% remote contract role for a Python (.NET + strong AWS) Developer with 5+ years of experience. The developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and .NET, ensuring clean, productive, and secure code.

Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing modules, integrating with third-party services, and troubleshooting production issues. The role involves designing and managing AWS-based infrastructure, leveraging services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, and related tooling for deployment, monitoring, and scalability. The developer will participate in code reviews, collaborate with cross-functional teams, follow Agile practices, and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.

Qualifications





- Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development, including frameworks, RESTful APIs, and integration with databases.
- Proficiency with .NET (C# or similar) for building and maintaining services and applications in a microservices or service-oriented environment.
- Deep expertise with AWS cloud services (such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) and experience designing, deploying, and monitoring applications in AWS.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing tools to ensure reliable and repeatable deployments.
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, query optimization, and data modeling for scalable applications.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience; experience in outsourcing or consulting environments is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
