Role Description

What You'll Do

Build and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using Python and modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

Develop and integrate AI/LLM-powered features into production applications.

Work with frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph to build AI workflows, agents, and intelligent application logic.

Build RAG-based applications, AI-powered search, knowledge systems, and other LLM-driven features.

Work with voice and real-time AI applications, including technologies such as LiveKit and related speech/voice services.

Integrate LLMs, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, third-party APIs, and other AI services into backend systems.





Work with databases and supporting infrastructure required for backend and AI applications.

Write clean, maintainable, and reliable code and contribute to improving the overall engineering quality of our products.

Debug issues, improve application performance, and support production systems.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and other team members to turn requirements into working solutions.

Stay up to date with new developments in AI, LLMs, agentic systems, and modern Python technologies and evaluate where they can add value to our products.

What We're Looking For

Required

Strong hands-on experience with Python.

Good understanding of backend development and API design.

Experience with at least one Python web framework, preferably FastAPI.

Practical experience working with LLMs or AI-powered applications.

Experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph.

Understanding of concepts such as RAG, embeddings, vector search, tool calling, and AI agents.

Experience working with databases and APIs.

Good understanding of Git and standard software development practices.

Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have

Experience with LiveKit / LiveKit Agents or other real-time voice technologies.





Experience with LlamaIndex, Pydantic AI, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar AI frameworks.

Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol).

Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other LLM APIs.

Experience with vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant, or Weaviate.

Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS.

Experience building voice, conversational AI, or agentic applications.

Qualifications

2–5 years of professional experience in Python/backend development.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with robust practical experience.

Candidates with strong personal/open-source AI projects are encouraged to apply.
