Role Purpose The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the Purplle retail store, driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, managing the store team, and maintaining Purplle’s brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

- Manage day-to-day operations of the retail store.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store.
- Maintain store hygiene, visual merchandising, and overall presentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with relevant teams for replenishment.

1. Sales & Business Performance

- Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor store KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling of beauty and personal care products.
- Analyse sales trends and take corrective actions when required.
- Ensure effective execution of promotional campaigns and offers.

1. Team Management

- Lead, motivate, and manage Beauty Advisors and other store staff.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and prepare staff schedules.
- Monitor individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular team briefings and provide on-the-job coaching.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Manage attendance, discipline, and employee engagement.

1. Customer Experience

- Ensure customers receive excellent service throughout their store visit.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.




- Build solid customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
- Ensure the team provides accurate product recommendations based on customer needs.

1. Inventory & Loss Prevention

- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Conduct regular stock checks and support inventory audits.
- Minimise product damage, expiry, and stock loss.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of products.

1. Reporting

- Maintain daily sales and operational reports.
- Track store KPIs including sales, conversion, average bill value, and productivity.
- Share performance updates with the reporting manager.
- Identify operational challenges and provide practical solutions.

Candidate Profile Education: Graduation preferred.

Experience:

- 2–5 years of experience in retail/store operations.
- Experience in beauty, cosmetics, fashion, FMCG, lifestyle, or similar retail sectors is preferred.
- Prior experience managing a retail team will be an advantage.

Required Skills
