We are looking for a skilled and responsible Purchase Executive to manage the company's procurement activities and vendor relationships. Candidates with experience in the construction industry will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the complete purchasing and procurement process.
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
- Ensure the timely availability of materials as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with project, site, and accounts teams regarding material requirements.
- Monitor material quality, quantity, and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong skilled relationships with vendors.
- Track pending orders and follow up with suppliers.
- Prepare purchase reports and maintain proper documentation.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in purchase, procurement, or vendor management.
- Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials and suppliers is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase-related documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and purchase requirements efficiently.
