Role Description The Purchase Department Specialist role is a full-time, in office position based at the Hosur facility. The specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting timely procurement of materials and components.

The role involves monitoring inventory requirements, tracking deliveries, and ensuring adherence to company purchasing policies and cost targets. The specialist collaborates closely with production, stores,



and quality teams to align purchasing schedules with operational needs and resolve any supplier or material-related issues. The position also includes maintaining accurate purchase records, analyzing purchasing data, and supporting continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchasing to manage end-to-end procurement activities effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Purchase Orders to handle vendor coordination and order processing accurately.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate quotations, monitor costs, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Good communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office and ERP or procurement software.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial purchasing is preferred.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
