Required Qualifications

∙Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.

∙3–7 years of experience in procurement/purchasing within aerospace or defense industries.

∙Solid knowledge of electronic components, avionics systems, sensors, and aerospace-grade materials.

∙Hands-on experience with SAP or ERP procurement modules.

∙Familiarity with import and export control regulations and defense procurement compliance.

∙Negotiation, documentation, and vendor management skills.

∙Exposure to global sourcing and supply chain risk management.

∙Resilient under pressure, with effective escalation and follow-up skills.

∙Collaborate with design and engineering teams to align procurement with technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the technical procurement of UAV electronics, avionics, sensors, RF components, and other mission-critical electronic systems.
2.



Coordinate closely with Engineering teams to understand BOMs, technical specifications, approved components, and procurement requirements.
3. Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop qualified aerospace-grade suppliers and vendors for electronic and avionics components.
4. Plan and manage the procurement of critical and long-lead components to ensure uninterrupted UAV development and production schedules.
5. Ensure component traceability and implement appropriate controls to minimize counterfeit, unauthorized, obsolete, or non-conforming component risks.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable import/export controls, defense procurement requirements, and relevant aerospace procurement regulations.
7. Monitor and manage supplier performance across Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD), while proactively identifying and mitigating supply-chain risks.
8. Drive cost optimization and commercial negotiations while maintaining required aerospace quality, reliability, technical specifications, and delivery commitments.
