Position Summary

AKM Global is looking for an experienced and dynamic PR Manager to lead its Corporate Communications and Public Relations function.

The individual will be responsible for building and strengthening the firm's brand reputation, managing media relations, driving thought leadership initiatives, and enhancing visibility for AKM Global and its leadership team across leading business and financial media platforms.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Public Relations within the professional services industry and possess strong relationships with top-tier business media publications and journalists.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations & Media Relations

- Develop and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, editors, business correspondents, and media influencers.
- Generate meaningful media coverage for AKM Global across print, online, television, and digital platforms.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media notes, thought leadership articles, opinion pieces, and leadership quotes.
- Secure interviews, expert commentary opportunities, and media interactions for leadership team members.
- Monitor media coverage and manage brand visibility and reputation.

Corporate Communications
- Develop and manage internal and external communication plans.
- Create compelling communication materials including corporate announcements, newsletters, speeches, and executive messages.
- Work closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to create impactful communication campaigns.

Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning




- Drive thought leadership initiatives by positioning AKM Global's Partners and Directors as industry experts.
- Secure placements in leading business and financial publications.
- Coordinate speaking opportunities, panel discussions, webinars, and industry events for leadership teams.
- Enhance brand recognition through strategic communication campaigns.

Reputation & Crisis Management
- Develop crisis communication plans and response strategies.
- Manage sensitive corporate communications and reputation-related issues.
- Ensure consistent and accurate messaging during critical situations.

Digital PR & Content Strategy
- Collaborate with marketing teams to amplify media coverage across digital platforms.
- Support social media communication and executive visibility initiatives.
- Track and measure PR campaign effectiveness through relevant KPIs and reporting mechanisms.

Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with PR agencies, media partners, industry associations, and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align communication objectives with business priorities.
- Build strategic partnerships that enhance AKM Global's market presence.

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with prior experience in the professional services sector will be strongly preferred.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
- Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Business Administration preferred.

Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Media Relations, or Brand Communications.
- Demonstrated experience in skilled services, consulting, financial services, accounting, legal, or advisory sectors.
- Proven track record of managing corporate reputation and securing high-impact media coverage.
- Experience handling leadership profiling and executive branding initiatives.
