Role Description

Indeva Studio is looking for a Project Supervisor responsible for the day-to-day execution and management of residential interior and renovation projects at site.

The role involves coordinating with contractors, vendors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters and other site teams to ensure that work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project timelines.

The Project Supervisor will act as the primary execution link between the design team, contractors, vendors and client, ensuring that the design intent is translated accurately into on-site execution.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Management

- Manage and supervise day-to-day site activities.
- Ensure smooth execution of all civil, interior and MEP works.
- Coordinate labour, contractors and subcontractors at site.
- Maintain proper site discipline, cleanliness and work sequencing.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and appropriately.
- Monitor daily manpower and work progress.

- Drawing & Design Execution
- Study and understand architectural, interior, furniture and MEP drawings before execution.
- Ensure work is carried out strictly as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with the design team whenever site conditions require clarification.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions before execution.
- Ensure approved design details, dimensions, finishes and materials are implemented correctly.
- Prevent unauthorised changes or substitutions at site.

- Quality Control

- Inspect workmanship and finished work on a continuous basis.
- Ensure proper quality of civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, painting, flooring and other works.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignments, edges, joints and finishing quality.
- Identify defective or poorly executed work and ensure rectification.
- Conduct stage-wise quality checks before allowing the next activity to proceed.
- Ensure materials being used match approved samples and specifications.

- Contractor & Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with all contractors and vendors working on the project.
- Allocate work and communicate daily priorities.
- Follow up on pending works and committed completion dates.
- Coordinate interdependent activities to avoid site clashes and delays.
- Verify delivery and installation schedules.
- Escalate contractor performance issues to the Project Manager / Principal Designer.

- Material Management

- Check materials received at site against approved specifications, quantities and samples.
- Report damaged,



incorrect or insufficient materials immediately.
- Maintain basic material inward/outward records.
- Coordinate material requirements with the procurement team.
- Ensure critical materials are available before starting dependent work.
- Minimise material wastage and damage at site.

- Measurements & Execution Verification

- Take site measurements wherever required.
- Verify dimensions before fabrication and installation.
- Cross-check furniture, cabinetry, ceiling, electrical and other site dimensions.
- Assist in preparing measurement sheets and work completion records.
- Verify completed quantities before contractor bills are processed.

- Timeline & Progress Monitoring

- Maintain the project execution schedule at site level.
- Track daily and weekly progress against planned timelines.
- Identify activities falling behind schedule.
- Communicate delays and their reasons to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate corrective action to recover lost time.
- Ensure critical-path activities are prioritised.

- Site Reporting

- Prepare regular site progress updates.
- Maintain daily site reports including:
- Manpower
- Work completed
- Work in progress
- Materials received
- Pending activities
- Site issues
- Delays
- Requirements for the next working day
- Share site photographs and progress updates with the internal team.
- Immediately escalate major quality, safety, design or execution issues.

- Client Coordination

- Coordinate professionally with clients during site visits.
- Communicate execution-related updates when authorised.
- Record client observations and communicate them to the design/project team.
- Ensure client instructions are not implemented without proper approval from the relevant Indeva Studio representative.
- Maintain skilled conduct and protect the studio's design and execution standards.

- Coordination With Design Team

- Attend site coordination meetings as required.
- Communicate site constraints and execution challenges to the design team.
- Obtain clarification before executing ambiguous or conflicting details.
- Assist designers during site inspections and design implementation.




- Ensure revisions issued by the design team are properly communicated to contractors.

- Safety & Site Discipline

- Ensure basic site safety practices are followed by workers and contractors.
- Ensure appropriate PPE and safe working practices wherever required.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Ensure electrical tools, scaffolding, ladders and construction activities are handled safely.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Authority & AccountabilityThe Project Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that:

DRAWING → MATERIAL → WORKMANSHIP → QUALITY → TIMELINE are aligned throughout project execution.

The supervisor should not independently approve design changes, material substitutions, additional client requirements or major cost variations without approval from the authorised Indeva Studio representative.

Expected Skills

- Strong understanding of residential construction and interior execution.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural/interior drawings.
- Knowledge of civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, ceiling, painting and finishing works.
- Strong contractor and labour coordination skills.
- Good understanding of measurements and site dimensions.
- Ability to identify execution and quality issues.
- Strong follow-up and time-management skills.
- Good communication and reporting ability.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, WhatsApp and project documentation.
- Ability to work independently at an active construction site.

Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in residential construction/interior projects and should be comfortable managing multiple trades simultaneously.

This is a site-execution role, not a desk-based coordination position. The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented and capable of identifying problems before they become costly execution errors.

Experience: 2–5 years preferred
