ABOUT MEETHAPITARA
MeethaPitara is a up-to-date Indian dessert company creating premium products around familiar Indian dessert experiences. We currently make mithai-inspired frozen desserts in Mumbai and are building our commercial engine across consumer, foodservice, corporate, retail and partnership channels.
We are a lean, founder-led company. The person joining us will work directly with the Founder and have meaningful ownership over how MeethaPitara acquires customers, develops accounts and builds repeatable sales channels.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly driven Sales & Partnerships Executive who can take day-to-day ownership of revenue generation and business development across Mumbai.
This is a hands-on, field-led sales role. You will generate your own leads,
meet prospective customers across Mumbai and manage opportunities from first contact through paid orders and repeat business, working directly with the Founder.
The objective is straightforward: build and scale MeethaPitara's first repeatable sales channels.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Work with the Founder to identify and prioritise the most promising customer segments, then build and manage a qualified sales pipeline. Potential channels include cafés and restaurants, corporate and institutional accounts, premium retail, gifting, events and residential communities.
Prospect actively through cold outreach, referrals, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, field visits, networking and direct introductions.
Conduct product meetings, tastings and sampling with prospective customers and decision-makers.
Understand customer requirements, prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms and convert opportunities into paid orders.
