About the Project The Ramgarh Livelihood Development Project is a long-term initiative focused on helping girls in Classes 9–12 build the skills, confidence and pathways required to become financially independent.

The program works with government schools in and around Ramgarh and combines:

- English communication
- Digital and AI skills
- Career awareness, counselling and planning
- Soft skills and social-emotional learning
- Entrepreneurship
- Vocational exposure and livelihood pathways
- Parent and community engagement

Our objective is not simply to conduct training programs, but to create measurable improvements in girls' aspirations, capabilities, career choices and eventual livelihoods.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Project Leadership

- Own day-to-day project delivery and outcomes.
- Convert strategy and plans into effective execution.
- Ensure quality, timelines and targets are met.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Understand local school, student and community needs.

2. School Coordination
- Build relationships with schools, teachers and government officials.
- Coordinate project activities and schedules.
- Ensure school access and smooth program delivery.
- Resolve attendance, infrastructure and coordination issues.
- Conduct regular school visits.

3. Student Engagement & Retention
- Build relationships with participating girls and understand their needs.
- Drive enrolment, attendance and continued participation.
- Identify and support girls at risk of dropping out.
- Expand awareness of education, careers, entrepreneurship and livelihoods.
- Provide ongoing guidance and follow-up.

4. Parent & Community Engagement




- Build trust with parents and families.
- Address barriers to girls’ education and career choices.
- Conduct parent and community engagement activities.
- Engage local influencers and stakeholders when needed.

5. Team Management
- Coordinate trainers, counsellors, field staff and partners.
- Clarify responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular team reviews and resolve issues.
- Build an accountable, motivated and cooperative team.

6. Program Quality
- Monitor English, Digital & AI, Career, Soft Skills and Entrepreneurship programs.
- Observe sessions and collect feedback.
- Improve content and delivery with experts and partners.
- Ensure programs are practical and relevant for Classes 9–12.

7. Career & Livelihood Outcomes
- Move career counselling beyond awareness to individual planning.
- Track students’ interests, capabilities and aspirations.
- Facilitate exposure to colleges, professionals, employers and entrepreneurs.
- Connect girls with scholarships, courses, internships and jobs.
- Focus on sustainable livelihoods and financial independence.

8. Monitoring & Measurement
- Maintain accurate enrolment, attendance and participation data.
- Track project indicators, assessments and outcomes.
- Use data to identify gaps and improve performance.
- Provide concise monthly progress updates.

9. Partner & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with Plan International (India Chapter), the Trust and project partners.
- Manage donor, consultant and guest visits.
- Ensure follow-up on agreed actions.
- Support impact documentation while following safeguarding requirements.
- Represent the project professionally with all stakeholders.
