HVAC Project Engineer – Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead and manage HVAC engineering projects from concept through completion Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and cost targets Perform load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection for HVAC systems Prepare detailed designs, specifications, and layouts (air distribution, chilled water, heating systems, VRF, etc.) Provide technical input during project development, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC-related issues during project execution Conduct site inspections, quality assurance reviews, and system commissioning Ensure timely submittal of all project documents and approvals (samples, shop drawings, design details, work procedures, method statements, schedules, daily reports, etc.) Arrange clearances, approvals,



and permissions from statutory authorities during project execution Receive project-related instructions from Client/Engineer/Main Contractor and coordinate effective action Attend project meetings with stakeholders and report proceedings to management Assign project activities to resources and monitor execution Evaluate requirements for materials, machinery, and manpower as per schedule and ensure availability EducationBachelor of Technology in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering ExperienceMore than 2–3 years of experience in project management SkillsStrong interpersonal skills Customer correspondence and communication Proficiency in word processing software Technical drawing skills Leadership and team management Negotiation skills KnowledgeContracts and related laws Project planning software AutoCAD MS Office
