The School of Law (SoL), RV University, Bengaluru offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), BBA LL.B.(Hons.) and B.Sc. (Hons.)—along with LL.M. and Ph.D. in Law.

Role Description

This is a full time, on-site faculty position in Bengaluru for Professors and Associate Professors in Law.

The selected candidates will

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate law courses.
- Contribute to curriculum design and innovation.
- Mentor students and guide research projects.
- Conduct impactful research and publish.
- Undertake administrative responsibilities, including participation in faculty governance, accreditation processes, and academic service.

Professor – Minimum Qualifications

Academic Record

- Ph.D. in Law
- UGC-NET
- Master’s degree in law with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience at university/college level, (8 years as Assistant Professor/ 2 years as Associate Professor).
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in leading faculty and students.

Research & Contribution





- Minimum ten quality publications in Scopus/peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven record of mentoring Ph.D. scholars and leading academic initiatives.
- Experience in accreditation processes (BCI, NIRF, QS, law school rankings).

Associate Professor – Minimum Qualifications

Academic Record

- Ph.D. in Law.
- UGC-NET
- Master’s degree in law with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

Experience

- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in independently leading student activities.

Research & Contribution

- Minimum eight quality publications in Scopus/peer-reviewed journals.
- Evidence of supervising LL.M. dissertations or guiding student research.
