Job Summary

A Data Engineer III – Power BI is a seasoned practitioner responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing analytical data models, Power BI semantic layers, and enterprise dashboards that enable data-driven decision making across the organization. This role combines strong SQL and dimensional modeling expertise with up-to-date data engineering practices to transform complex business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.





The engineer partners closely with business stakeholders, analysts, product owners, and data platform teams to deliver trusted, high-performance reporting and dashboard experiences. They build curated analytical datasets, develop reusable semantic models, establish KPI standards, and ensure enterprise reporting solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Data engineers provide technical leadership for analytics initiatives, mentor junior engineers and analysts, and drive best practices in Power BI development, data modeling, performance optimization, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain analytics-ready datasets and data marts supporting reporting and dashboard workloads.
Develop dimensional models including fact and dimension tables using star and snowflake schemas.
Build scalable SQL transformations and ETL/ELT proc
