Job Title: Data Scientist / ML Engineer
5–8 years of ML engineering experience in a production setting.
Solid hands-on Snowflake expertise: Snowpark or Pyspark (Python), stored procedures, UDFs, Model Registry.
Demonstrated track record of taking POC/prototype models to production — including data validation and architectural redesign.
Proficiency in Python for ML (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch or similar) and data engineering.
Solid understanding of MLOps principles: versioning, CI/CD for ML, monitoring, drift detection, retraining pipelines.
Solid SQL skills; ability to optimise complex queries and data transformation pipelines.
Analytical rigour — comfortable questioning a model's assumptions with data and proposing evidence based alternatives.
