Role Summary

Policybazaar is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Area Manager to lead and drive field sales operations in Chennai. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in insurance sales, proven experience in managing field sales teams, and the ability to consistently deliver business growth through effective leadership and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Field Sales Executives to achieve business objectives.
/n
- Drive sales performance by ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds assigned business targets.
/n
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, training programs, and performance reviews to enhance team productivity.
/n
- Oversee day-to-day field sales operations and ensure the effective implementation of sales strategies.
/n
- Build and maintain solid relationships with customers,



partners, and key stakeholders to support business growth.

- Monitor sales performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective action plans where required.

- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, operational processes, and regulatory guidelines.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
/n
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Insurance Sales.
/n
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and managing field sales teams.
/n
- Proficiency in Tamil (spoken and written) is mandatory.
/n
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
/n
- Good understanding of the Chennai market and customer landscape.
/n
- Willingness to work in a target-driven, field-based sales environment.
