Zigment is an agentic AI platform for revenue teams. We help businesses orchestrate intelligent conversations across every channel — turning prospects into customers without anything falling through the cracks. We're a small, high-output engineering team. Every engineer owns a domain
end-to-end — not tickets, not tasks, but real product ownership.

Role:-
You'll own the communications backbone of our platform — the layer that
connects our AI agents to every major messaging channel. This is infrastructure
ownership, not integration work. You'll be the person who decides how we handle
provider failures, guarantee message delivery, and scale reliably across channels.

What you'll do
Own the reliability and uptime of all channel integrations end-to-end
Design and maintain the webhook infrastructure that routes messages
across all communication channels
Own the voice infrastructure — inbound and outbound calling pipelines
Be the on-call owner for communications layer incidents




Drive architectural decisions on message delivery, retry logic,
and cross-channel routing
Work closely with the AI team to connect agent outputs to real-world channels

What we're looking for
4+ years of backend engineering experience
Production experience with messaging APIs or communications infrastructure
Solid understanding of webhook reliability, idempotency, and async systems
Experience with queue-based architectures
Comfortable debugging live production incidents on third-party APIs
TypeScript/Node.js or Python (Django/Flask) experience

Bonus
Voice infrastructure experience — VoIP or SIP
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms
