Production Trainee (Entry-Level)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Trainee to support our production operations. You will work hands-on with manufacturing, quality testing, and packaging processes. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to learn manufacturing operations and grow within the production team.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing & Production

- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Perform soldering operations for electronic component assembly, ensuring clean and accurate solder joints
- Operate machines used in production (assembly machines, testing rigs, and related equipment) following SOPs
- Assist in assembly and production of products according to specifications
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines
- Prepare materials and components for production
- Monitor production flow and report any issues to supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area

Quality Testing & Inspection

- Perform quality checks on products at various production stages
- Test products for defects, functionality, and adherence to specifications
- Inspect soldering and machine-operated work for quality and precision
- Record inspection results and quality data accurately




- Identify and report quality issues to the production team
- Assist in implementing quality standards and procedures
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives

Packaging & Finishing

- Package finished products according to specifications and standards
- Label and mark products with required information
- Inspect packaged products for quality and completeness
- Organize and arrange packaged goods for shipment
- Maintain inventory of packaging materials
- Ensure proper storage and handling of finished products

General Operations

- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Report any safety concerns or equipment issues immediately
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Support team members and collaborate on production goals
- Assist with other production-related tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willing to work in a manufacturing/production environment
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (training provided)
- Attention to detail and quality-conscious mindset
- Ability to follow instructions and SOPs carefully
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Based in Chennai or willing to relocate
- Freshers are welcome with the right attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly
- Familiarity with soldering or basic electronics assembly
- Familiarity with quality control procedures
- Experience with basic machinery or equipment operation
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
