Job Summary:

A Production Head in an electrical control panel manufacturing unit is responsible for overseeing the entire production process from planning and scheduling to quality control, ensuring timely and efficient production of panels like PCC, MCC, and APFC, while also managing staff, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with other departments like procurement and design.

Key duties include resource allocation, process optimization, cost control, vendor management, and ensuring strict adherence to design drawings, specifications, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1) Production Planning & Execution:

· Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on the order book and material availability.

· Oversee the efficient execution of manufacturing processes for various electrical panels, such as PCC, MCC, AMF, ATS, APFC, and synchronizing panels.

2) Quality Assurance:

· Ensure all panels are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and project documents.

· Monitor production processes to maintain high quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

3) Team & Resource Management:

· Manage, train, and motivate production teams to achieve desired performance and safety levels.

· Oversee personnel, including performance management and disciplinary processes, as per company policies.

· Plan and direct the layout of equipment, workflow, and assembly methods for maximum efficiency.

4) Material & Inventory Management:





· Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and components.

· Manage the issuance of materials from the store to production and monitor their flow.

5) Process Optimization & Cost Control:

· Optimize production processes to enhance productivity, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness.

· Monitor production metrics, track costs, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

6) Safety & Compliance:

· Ensure a protected working environment and adherence to all relevant safety and regulatory standards.

7) Documentation & Reporting:

· Maintain proper documentation and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.

· Track the progress of manufacturing processes to ensure timely delivery.

Required Qualification, Experience and skills:

· BE, Diploma (Electrical) full time from reputed institute or university.

· 10+ yrs proven experience in electrical control panel manufacturing

· Proven experience in the manufacturing of electrical control panels (MCC, PCC, APFC, PLC, etc.).

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments.

· Proficiency in production planning, quality control, and process optimization.

· Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and panel design principles.

· Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
