Role Description The Production Engineer IML will work full time on-site at the Ahmedabad facility, overseeing daily production activities for IML packaging lines.

Responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing machine performance, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring efficient workflow on fully automatic and robotic systems. The role involves implementing production plans, maintaining process parameters, and troubleshooting technical issues to minimize downtime.

The Production

Engineer IML will collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to uphold product standards, support continuous improvement initiatives,



and ensure adherence to safety and compliance guidelines. The position also requires clear communication with supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet delivery timelines and production targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering skills, with knowledge of IML processes, automated machinery, and manufacturing best practices.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills for problem-solving, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making in a quick-paced production environment.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning capabilities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination to meet output and turnaround goals.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to monitor product standards, conduct inspections, and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document processes, and report production status clearly.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field) is preferred.
- Experience in plastics, packaging, or IML manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with safety practices, lean manufacturing, and basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, production reporting tools) is beneficial.
