About Finrep:

Finrep is building AI-powered financial reporting for CFO teams at public and pre-IPO companies. Finance, accounting, investor relations, and legal teams use us to get their SEC filings done faster: the 10-K and 10-Q (the annual and quarterly reports every US public company has to file), plus proxies, S-1s, and 8-Ks. Work that takes them hours today, like finding how other companies worded a similar disclosure, takes seconds with us.

The Role:

Our marketing systems already work. We are hiring you to push past them: open channels we have not tried, run growth experiments, and scale the ones that earn it.

You will sit inside the GTM team and own product marketing and growth as one job: how we describe the product, where that description shows up, and whether it moves numbers. That covers positioning, LinkedIn, the blog, use case pages, paid experiments, and SEO. You get the current playbook to build on, and the freedom to break the parts that have stopped working.

The range here is real. If your experiments land, GTM operations is yours to run.

What You Will Do:

• Own Finrep's positioning: what we say we do, who we say it to, and how that shows up across every channel.

- Write LinkedIn content that a technical accountant would actually stop for. This audience spots shallow content instantly, so every piece is grounded in real filings, FASB updates, or SEC comment letter data.
- Run content and growth experiments across LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. Set the hypothesis, ship it, read the numbers, kill what does not work.
- Own paid experiments end to end: copy, creative, targeting, and the honest call on whether a channel deserves more budget.
- Drive SEO enrichment: backlinks, affiliates, and partner outreach.
- Write and optimise use case pages, blog posts, and landing pages for both search engines and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews).




- Track competitors and turn the gaps in how they position themselves into angles we can own.
- Grow the top of the funnel and scale whatever works.

What We Are Looking For:

- Prior marketing experience with a portfolio or personal site we can read. Show us the work, not the job titles.
- Product thinking. You can look at Finrep, work out what an SEC reporting lead is actually trying to get done that week, and write from there.
- Basic engineering literacy. You know what a server does, roughly how a website is built and deployed, and you can read code without panicking. You will be shipping pages and wiring up tools yourself.
- Fluency with AI and agentic tools such as Claude, Codex, and ChatGPT. You should already be building with them daily, not testing them on weekends.
- Self-direction. You see the gap, propose the experiment, and ship it without waiting for a brief.
- Genuine excitement about a lean team where what you ship on Monday is live by Wednesday.

Major Pluses:

- Startup experience, especially at the early stage.
- SEO, AEO, or GEO work you can point to and explain.
- A track record of B2B content that earned real engagement from a skilled audience.
- Curiosity about finance, accounting, or regulation. You do not need domain knowledge on day one. You need the appetite to build it fast.
- Comfort with Figma, Canva, Semrush, or HubSpot.

What This Is Not:

- Not a scheduling role. You create original content, not reposts and templates.
- Not a role with a brief waiting for you every Monday. You propose the work.
- Not a place to learn marketing from scratch. The team is small and the bar is practitioner grade.
