Reporting to the Roster Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service delivery team, ensuring that care workers are effectively scheduled to provide timely and quality support to participants. You will play a key role in promoting high-quality, protected, person-centred, and commercially sustainable care for our growing disability client base.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Coordination
Oversee and coordinate all activities during assigned shifts.
Ensure all staff are logged in on time and address any missed logins promptly.
Workflow Management
Maintain smooth and effective workflow throughout the shift.
Identify and resolve any disruptions in a timely manner.
Shift Planning & Coverage
Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Monitor and identify vacant shifts for the current and upcoming day.
Staff Allocation
Assign duties and responsibilities based on staff skills, availability, and workload.
Communication Management
Act as the central point of contact between staff and internal teams.
Review and respond to unread messages and missed calls promptly.
Manage shift cancellations or pull-outs, update the Care Master, and notify relevant stakeholders.
Timesheet & Compliance Management
Ensure all timesheets are generated and up to date.
Follow up with support workers for timely logouts and completion of case notes where required.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams to understand staffing needs and align operations with business objectives.
Record Management
Maintain accurate records of staff availability, leave requests, and work preferences.
Service Updates & Escalations
Inform the Service Coordinator of any cancellations, late starts, or changes in support.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure all schedules comply with relevant labour laws, company policies, and industry standards.
