Join Alfa Laval Team as Service Center Order Handler

Join us as our Service Center Order Handler - Visakhapatnam for providing direct support to customers in project or complex sales, and has responsibilities including logistics, invoicing and/or order fulfilment. In constant contact with Alfa Laval Service center.

This role reports to Service Centre Manager and would be responsible for
Manage the order process for products, projects, and complex sales, from quote acceptance to invoicing.
Oversee order acknowledgment management.
Follow up on costs and deliveries from factories.
Monitor and follow up on order backlog.
Close orders and handle invoicing.
Provide proactive customer support and respond promptly throughout the process, including order status,



post-order documentation, delivery dates, and logistics information.
Support customers by resolving basic technical questions.
Communicate with operations and vendors to obtain current production dates, update required systems, and communicate changes.
Control purchase order execution and prepare suppliers’ shipping documents.
Inform clients of the “proof of delivery” to validate that the delivery was completed.
Maintain traceability information for order conversion, confirmation, fulfillment, client communication, billing, and proof of delivery (POD) through the company’s CRM.
Ensure orders are maintained and updated; handle returns, commissions, credits/debits, and coordinate and follow up on customer claims.
Prepare quotes, including price checks, delivery times, and minor technical selections.
