The Pharmacy Assistant supports the pharmacy team in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. The role involves assisting pharmacists, maintaining records, and providing courteous service to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications as per prescriptions.
Receive, label, and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies.
Maintain proper records of stock, prescriptions, and billing.
Ensure accurate packaging and labeling of medicines.
Handle billing and payment collection from patients.
Monitor stock levels and inform the pharmacist about shortages.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
Check expiry dates and remove expired or damaged medicines.
Assist in inventory audits and stock verification.
Provide basic information to patients regarding medicine usage (as guided by the pharmacist).
Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
