This role involves creating innovative and market-relevant print and embellished fabric designs for home furnishing products like
Cushions, Rugs, Throws, Bags etc. The designer will work closely with, artisans, and product development teams to bring unique, high-quality collections to life. They will also be responsible for creating product presentations based on customer mood boards/trends, aligning designs with specific client aesthetics and market demands.

Knowledge and experience in creating prints and surface ornamentation would be a valuable addition.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop printed and embellished têxtile patterns and fabric concepts using CAD software like photoshop or Corel Draw.
Create detailed design concepts including colorways, and yarn selections, ensuring alignment with market trends and brand aesthetics.
Source appropriate yarns, dyes, and materials suited for various techniques and product requirements.
For Prints and Surface work
Collaborate with in-house teams and artisans to translate design concepts into physical samples and final products.




To create product presentations based on customer mood boards.
Actively participate in showroom displays during meetings with international clients.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design or a related field
3+ years of experience in têxtile design, specifically in print + embellished têxtiles.
Strong understanding of techniques, yarn types, fabric construction, and finishing processes.
Proficiency in software such as Photoshop, Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator.
Positive color sense and ability to create cutting-edge patterns suitable for different markets.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
