We are looking for a proactive and people-focused individual to build robust relationships with our global network of freelance editors. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our freelance contractors, ensuring they feel supported, engaged, and connected in a fully remote environment. From onboarding to ongoing engagement initiatives, you will play a key role in creating a seamless and positive experience that enables them to do their best work.
To succeed in this role, you should be empathetic, culturally aware, and highly organized, with robust communication skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
Job responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact for our freelance contractors, supporting them throughout their journey with us
Ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience by coordinating with internal teams and keeping things on track
Handle freelancer queries related to processes, systems, invoicing, and day-to-day operations in a timely manner
Step in to manage and resolve escalations, working closely with relevant teams to close issues effectively
Keep an eye on trends in freelancer concerns or challenges, and suggest improvements to make processes better
Track engagement and attrition patterns, and take proactive steps to improve retention
Plan and run engagement initiatives to help freelancers feel connected and part of a larger community
Stay in touch with freelancers through regular check-ins to understand their experience and concerns
Gather and analyze feedback from surveys and conversations, and share insights with stakeholders
Qualifications and prerequisites:
Have experience working with or supporting a remote workforce
