SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer – (RAP & Fiori)

Experience 8–10 Years Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer to join our internal Center of Excellence (CoE) team. The role focuses on building and governing clean‑core compliant, upgrade‑secure SAP extensions using RAP, CDS Views, Fiori Elements, Flexible Workflow, and SAP BTP extensibility. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop S/4HANA extensions using RAP
Ensure strict adherence to Clean Core principles
Develop and maintain ABAP CDS Views with UI, analytics, and authorization annotations
Build SAP Fiori Elements applications
Implement and extend Versatile Workflow for business approvals
Analyze requirements and decide standard vs. extension approach
Support side‑by‑side extensibility on SAP BTP
Perform debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution




Collaborate with functional and architecture teams

Required Skills Must Have
Strong ABAP OO expertise
Hands‑on experience with:
SAP RAP
ABAP CDS Views
SAP Fiori Elements
Workflow / Versatile Workflow
Strong knowledge of OData services
Solid understanding of S/4HANA Clean Core architecture

Additional Knowledge
Authorization concepts
Integration standards (APIs, SAP BTP)

Functional & Soft Skills
Ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions
Experience with approval workflows and enterprise SAP environments
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
