Role Description The Procurement Analyst is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement activities and ensuring cost-effective, compliant purchasing. Day-to-day tasks include creating, reviewing, and processing purchase orders, monitoring vendor performance, and maintaining accurate procurement records and reports.

The role involves analyzing spend data, identifying savings opportunities, supporting contract negotiations, and contributing to procurement strategy and process improvements.





The Procurement

Analyst collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate procurement policies, and help resolve supplier or order-related issues. This position also supports forecasting, inventory planning, and continuous optimization of procurement workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement expertise, including experience with Purchase Orders and Procurement processes across multiple categories.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for spend analysis, forecasting, cost optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with Contract Negotiation, including evaluating terms, pricing, and service levels with suppliers.
- Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems and basic financial analysis related to sourcing and procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and compliance standards; experience in tech or SaaS environments is a plus.
