We are hiring a senior Print Production Manager to lead our web offset printing facility in Patna. You will lead the entire print production operations, quality, team, and output.
Role & responsibilities
- Run day-to-day plant operations end-to-end press scheduling, output targets, shift management
- Lead a team of operators, supervisors, and helpers across shifts
- Ensure on-time delivery of high-volume print jobs without quality compromise
- Own press efficiency minimise makeready time, paper waste, and downtime
- Set and enforce quality standards across pre-press, printing, and finishing
- Manage inventory of paper, ink, and consumables; coordinate with vendors
- Oversee press maintenance (preventive + breakdown) and safety compliance
- Report production MIS to senior management regularly
Preferred candidate profile
- 7+ years in web offset printing, with at least 3 years leading a plant or shift
- Hands-on experience on web offset presses
- Prior experience in textbook printing preferred
- Based in or willing to relocate to Patna
