We are hiring BCOM FRESHERS for "Customs Clearance & Freight Forwarding Assistant" on behalf of one of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and processing shipping documents such as Bill of Lading (B/L), Airway Bill (AWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc.
Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, and warehouse teams for booking and movement of cargo.
Track shipment status and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.
Help maintain accurate records of shipments and related paperwork.
Prepare customs clearance documentation under guidance (Import/Export declarations).
Liaise with Customs House Agents (CHA) / customs brokers to complete clearance formalities.
Monitor customs clearance status and follow up on any regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and tariff classifications (e.g., HS codes).
Communicate with clients, carriers, CHA, and internal departments professionally.




Respond to queries related to shipment schedules, documentation status, and customs procedures.
Assist in billing and invoicing support for services rendered.

Skills
Basic knowledge of export/import documentation
Positive communication (verbal & written)
MS Office (Excel, Word)
Teamwork and customer service mindset

Work Setting
Office-based logistics company / freight forwarder / customs house agent
6 days a week typical schedule (may vary)

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
