Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records and accounting operations of Mountain Infra Building OPC Pvt. Ltd. The role ensures accurate bookkeeping, compliance with statutory regulations, project-wise accounting, tax filings, payroll processing, and financial reporting. The Accountant supports the management in maintaining financial discipline and ensuring smooth financial operations for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
Maintain books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
Record daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Reconcile bank accounts, cash books, and ledger accounts.
Construction Project Accounting
Maintain project-wise cost records for each construction site.
Monitor labour costs, material purchases, subcontractor payments, and equipment expenses.
Track project budgets and compare actual costs with estimated costs.




Prepare project profitability and cost analysis reports.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices and supplier payments.
Maintain customer billing and follow up on outstanding payments.
Verify bills submitted by contractors and subcontractors.
Ensure timely payment of all operational expenses.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
Deduct and deposit TDS as per Income Tax regulations.
Assist in Income Tax return preparation.
Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with government regulations.
Payroll Management
Prepare monthly salary sheets.
Calculate statutory deductions including PF, ESI, TDS, and Skilled Tax (where applicable).
Process employee reimbursements and maintain payroll records.
Budgeting & Financial Reporting
Assist in preparing annual budgets.
Generate monthly MIS reports for management.
