Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Concept Design, 3d modelling, 2d-drafting of new product development and innovation for healthcare plastic packaging and non-healthcare products.
Supporting the stages of development for recent product and preparing the product data management, tolerance stack-up and tolerancing, product FMEA, QFD, Functional analysis, Risk analysis.
Understanding customer's requirement and preparing recent concepts.
Supporting an entire current product project & developing creative design to meet customer satisfaction.
Design verification by independent prototyping, jig development, testing, metrology.
Coordinating with the Industrialation team for product design finalisation and to ease the manufacturing of moulds and dies by identifying mould technology, injection gate location, split lines, risk of flashes, material flow.




Proficiency in Solid works CAD software (3D modelling, 2D drafting, surfacing)
Experience in Plastic design, part detailing and Knowledge in Mold design
Implementing NPI process and documentation.
Release drawings for manufacturing
Design verification by independent prototyping, jig development, testing, metrology.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
Support on production design activities wherever required
Attend Customer line trials for supporting product and assembly line run ability issues
