Ensure planned heat production and shift targets are achieved.
Monitor heat cycle time, tap-to-tap time, blowing time, and delays.
Ensure proper charging of hot metal, scrap, fluxes, and other materials.
Monitor BOF blowing parameters such as oxygen flow, pressure, lance height, and blow pattern.
Ensure proper end-point control based on temperature, carbon, and slag condition.
Control tapping practices and minimize metal/slag carryover.
Coordinate with LRF, CCM, SMS operations, and other downstream sections for smooth sequence.
