Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced iSeries (AS/400) Developer/Analyst to support business critical applications, perform maintenance and enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure stable and efficient system performance. The role involves development, analysis and support activities.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform using RPG IV/ILE, CL, and DB2.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design Technical solutions and implement changes to the standard life cycle process.
Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation of applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional and integration teams to support integration with end-to-end solutions and productive system performance.
Work with downstream and upstream integration points to troubleshoot data flow issues.
Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Participate in system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis and preventive action planning for production issues.




Perform data extraction, validation using SQL/DB2 queries
Support batch job scheduling and monitoring using job control utilities.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control and development protocols.

Technical Skills
Language – RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, Free-Format RPG
Databases – DB2/400
Operating System: IBMi (AS/400, iSeries)

Required Skills & Experience:
Preferably 10+ years of experience in iSeries (AS/400) development.
Proficiency in RPG IV/ILE, CL, and DB2/400.
Experience with SQL and Query/400.
Knowledge of APIs and web services integration.
Experience using version control or development tools
Robust understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Ability to work independently and in a team workplace.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology is an advantage.
Transportation or Supply Chain Domain experience would be added advantage.

Shift: General shift/partial Overlap with US time zones (as required by project)."
