WE'RE HIRING: Principal Azure Network Engineer | Azure Core Networking & Firewall Are you an experienced Azure Network Engineering professional with strong expertise in Azure Core Networking and Firewall technologies ? We're looking for a Principal Azure Network Engineer to architect and operationalize a secure, scalable, and highly available Azure networking foundation.

Position Principal Azure Network Engineer Location: Any UST Location Experience: 9+ Years Employment Type: Contract to Hire Key Responsibilities Architect and implement Azure Landing Zone network architectures , including Hub-Spoke and Virtual WAN topologies. Define network segmentation, subnet structures, IP addressing, routing models, and connectivity standards .

Establish

Azure networking patterns across Management Groups, Subscriptions, and Virtual Networks . Implement, configure, and manage Azure Firewall and related network security controls. Develop secure connectivity standards for internal applications and external services.

Design and support hybrid network connectivity and highly available network architectures. Architect secure networking solutions for Azure platform services and enterprise applications. Collaborate with Engineering, Cybersecurity, Platform Engineering, and Architecture teams .

Support network integration requirements for data and AI workloads . Conduct network design reviews and provide guidance as part of architecture governance. Define and enforce networking standards, policies, naming conventions, tagging standards, and operational procedures.

Monitor network health, connectivity, performance, and security posture across Azure environments.



Create operational runbooks and SOPs and provide troubleshooting guidance to L1/L2 support teams. Drive network automation and infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .

Deliver sprint objectives with high quality and within agreed timelines.

Required Expertise Must Have: Azure Core Networking Azure Firewall Enterprise Network Architecture Azure Cloud Networking Network Security & Segmentation Azure Technologies Experience with: Azure Application Security Groups Azure DNS Azure ExpressRoute Azure Firewall Azure Private Link Azure Traffic Manager Azure VPN Gateway Azure Virtual Networks Hub-Spoke / Virtual WAN Networking Hybrid Connectivity Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Experience Required 10+ years of enterprise networking experience 4+ years of experience designing and supporting Azure cloud networking solutions Strong understanding of enterprise-grade network architecture, security, connectivity, and operational practices.
