About The Opportunity A fast-growing D2C fashion brand in the premium athleisure and lifestyle apparel space, we’re reimagining how storytelling, brand voice, and digital-first PR connect with Gen Z and millennial audiences across India. As we scale nationally and target international expansion, we’re seeking a sharp, proactive PR Trainee to support media outreach, press kit development, influencer coordination, and narrative building—all from a remote setup.

Role & Responsibilities

- Assist in drafting press releases, media advisories, and brand statements aligned with seasonal campaigns and product launches.

- Build and maintain media contact lists across fashion, lifestyle, and business verticals on platforms like Muck Rack, Cision, or similar.

- Support influencer outreach and campaign tracking using tools like AspireIQ, Tagger, or manual Excel-based workflows.

- Monitor brand mentions across social, news, and blogs; compile weekly media clippings and sentiment reports.

- Coordinate logistics for virtual/media events, including scheduling, RSVPs, asset distribution, and follow-ups.

- Shadow senior PR leads in pitch development, media interviews prep,



and post-campaign performance analysis.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

- Experience with Canva or Adobe Express for basic press kit visuals

- Comfort using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar outreach tools

- Familiarity with media monitoring platforms (Mention, Brand24, Google Alerts)

- Ability to draft clean, error-free copy in brand voice

- Basic understanding of press release structure and SEO-friendly PR writing

Preferred

- Internship or freelance experience in fashion, lifestyle, or D2C PR

- Knowledge of Indian media landscape (print, digital, podcast, influencer)

- Experience with Notion or Airtable for campaign tracking
