Role Description: The PLC & Edge Connectivity Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru with extensive travel within India as well as internationally.

This role focuses on integrating shop-floor machines and control systems with Zometric’s manufacturing operations management system through PLC programming, edge connectivity solutions, and industrial communication protocols. Qualifications

- 3–7 years experience in industrial automation / OT connectivity
- Strong hands-on experience with multiple PLC brands (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Omron, Beckhoff preferred)
- Experience with Fanuc controllers
- Hands-on with Kepware / Litmus / similar edge platforms
- Solid knowledge of industrial protocols and bidirectional integration.
