We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead the production and day-to-day operations of our manufacturing unit at Butibori, Nagpur.

Key Responsibilities

· Overall responsibility for plant production and operations.

· Production planning and achievement of daily and monthly targets.

· Managing roasting, extrusion, drying, grinding, blending and packing operations.

· Managing manpower, shifts and labour productivity.

· Monitoring production efficiency, yield, wastage, energy consumption and downtime.

· Ensuring preventive maintenance and smooth operation of plant machinery.

· Coordination between Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch.

· Implementation and monitoring of SOPs and process controls.

· Maintaining plant safety, housekeeping and statutory compliance.

· Identifying opportunities for automation, manpower optimization and cost reduction.

· Troubleshooting process and equipment-related issues.

· Ensuring consistent product quality and timely execution of orders.

· Reporting plant performance and key operational parameters to management.

Candidate Profile

· Graduate/Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical,



Production or a related discipline.

· Preferably 8–15+ years of manufacturing experience with plant management responsibilities.

· Hands-on experience in roasting and extrusion processes is strongly preferred.

· Candidates from the starch / modified starch industry will be given preference.

· Experience with starch modification, pregelatinized starch, dextrins, drilling starch, CMS or similar starch-based products would be an added advantage.

· Good understanding of dryers, extruders, roasters, pulverizers, mixers, conveyors and material handling systems.

· Strong knowledge of production planning, preventive maintenance, manpower management and process improvement.

· Ability to troubleshoot production and process problems independently.

· Robust leadership skills with a practical, shop-floor-oriented approach.
