Role Description The Plant Maintenance Head and Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities and facility operations at the Chennai plant in a full-time, in office capacity. This role includes planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and safety.

The individual will coordinate with production, quality, and safety teams to support continuous improvement, optimize equipment performance, and meet manufacturing targets. Day-to-day tasks involve managing maintenance teams and contractors, monitoring maintenance KPIs,



preparing maintenance budgets, and ensuring compliance with statutory, environmental, and occupational health and safety requirements. The role also includes managing facility services such as building maintenance, power supply, consumables, and emergency systems, while driving cost efficiency and reliability across the plant.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Plant Operations and Production Management to oversee end-to-end plant functioning and align maintenance activities with output targets.
- Experience in Production Planning and coordination to ensure maintenance schedules support production timelines and minimize downtime.
- Proficiency in Quality Control practices to maintain equipment performance, support process stability, and comply with automotive industry standards.
- Capability in Budgeting and cost control to manage maintenance and facility expenditures, optimize resource utilization, and support plant profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in plant maintenance and facility management within automotive or heavy manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental compliance, and statutory requirements for manufacturing plants.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to use CMMS or other maintenance management software and interpret technical
