Job Summary

Fiserv is looking for a skilled PL/SQL Developer with 5years of experience to design, develop, and maintain database applications using Oracle PL/SQL. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in database development, performance tuning, and working with banking or financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

- Design and optimize complex SQL queries for data processing and reporting.

- Work with Oracle databases to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Perform query optimization and performance tuning of PL/SQL code.

- Support database deployments, enhancements, and bug fixes.

- Collaborate with application developers and business teams to understand data requirements.

- Maintain database documentation and coding standards.





- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills

- Solid experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development

- Experience in writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages

- Knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning

- Experience working with large databases and complex queries

- Understanding of database design, indexing, and normalization

- Experience with data migration and database debugging

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments

- Knowledge of ETL processes or data integration tools

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Experience Level
