About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer – Software to join our talented development team in Bangalore on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in PHP development, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance applications.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and scalability of our applications, working closely with cross-functional teams including QA, product management, and other developers.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. A deep knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, and triggers, is essential.





Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of working on large-scale or data-intensive applications, with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and a good understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, will be advantageous.

Responsibilities The responsibilities for this role include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable PHP applications in accordance with internal coding standards and best practices. You will be expected to implement modular, reusable, and maintainable code using robust object-oriented programming principles.

Developing and optimizing server-side logic, stored procedures, triggers, and database operations will be a key part of your duties. You will analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks across UI, database, and API layers to ensure optimal application performance.

You will collaborate with QA teams to conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines. Taking ownership of tasks from requirement analysis through to deployment and ongoing production support is crucial. Additionally, you will be involved in continuous performance tuning,



troubleshooting, and implementing improvements to enhance application efficiency and scalability.

Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as you will work closely with other developers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
